What started out as a simple family run business is now a group of companies with four different specialist arms and a client base that includes major plc companies, local councils such as Brighton, Uckfield and Eastbourne, schools, colleges and countless private individuals and small businesses.

Cherry Security Company was established in 1989 by Andy Whisker.  The company is well known for its expertise in the supplying, installation and repair of all types of roller shutters, retractable security grilles and more. 

In 2004 Cherry Gates and Barriers, headed up by Shaun White, was established to offer a dedicated and specialised service for the supply, install, repair and maintenance of gates and barriers.  Also in 2004  they were joined by Andy's son, Mitch Whisker, who is a qualified electrician

In 2007 Gareth Bouwer joined the team and started up Cherry Wireless and Cabling - a specialist Data Cabling, Networking Infrastructure and Wi-Fi company, and late that same year Mitch branched out and started Cherry Blinds and Awnings.

In 2008 Cherry Broadband was launched.

The group, from our offices in Eastbourne, undertake domestic, industrial and commercial jobs in and around Eastbourne, including Brighton, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, and Bexhill
